One of my favourite metal bands of all time, Slipknot has recently released a new album entitled “All Hope Is Gone“.

This is one hell of an album, I can tell you this.

Unlike predecessor albums “Slipknot”, “IOWA” and even “Vol 3 : The Subliminal Verses”, Slipknot has seem to be more melodical; breaking out from the ultra “nu-metal” genre.

Hit single “Psychosocial” has been hitting stores since before the album release actually; but I can tell you this- there are other great tracks in the album as well. Songs like “Gematria (The Killing Name)”, “Sulfur”, “Gehenna”, “All Hope Is Gone” and “Burning Time” are killer tracks as well.

As per normal, the Slipknot members will be downing new masks per every new album release and it’s not surprising that they did so with this album either.

Slipknot’s success has surprised critics recently with the metal maggots hitting #1 on the Billboard 200 chart by an astonishing 239,516 sales in the first week of its release.
